Locals refer to this road in St. Louis as "Zombie Road". When the railroad that ran along it went out of service, young lovers would use this abandoned area as a place for privacy. That's when the "Zombie Killer" came in. Rumor has it, that the Zombie Killer lived in a shack in the woods and would come out to attack young lovers.

This prison in Jefferson City was once known as the "Bloodiest 47 Acres in America". Today, visitors can go on an informative tour and see where prisoners were jailed and at times, executed.

The Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs first opened its doors in 1888. However, the hotel was cursed from the start and suffered from having multiple fires burn it down. Back in the day, gangsters used to illegally gamble in the basement, and guests still feel their presence today when at the spa.
