This beautiful, relaxing spot in Mark Twain National Forest is actually the most removed you can get from people in Missouri. The spot, located in the Hercules Glades Wilderness Area, is only 2.2 miles from the road, but once you’re in the forest, it’ll seem like modern civilization is hundreds of miles away.
