I am loving all the great photos contributed by our Missouri readers! Missouri is such a beautiful state and fall is one of the best times of year to capture its beauty. So here’s a challenge to you: I have noticed a lot of the same contributors each week, and if you are one of them, keep sending in the great shots! However, if you have a great photo you haven’t shared with us, I encourage you to do so. Instructions for submission will be at the end of the article. Here are some great shots that give Missouri bragging rights as being one of the most beautiful states in the U.S!
1. Curtis Vail II got this amazing shot from his farm NE of Butler.
This may be one of my favorites! Like a "promised land".
6. Irene Kelley Bateman shared this and said, "I love the way the trees are reflected in the creek." I agree. Captured at Mastadon State Park in Imperial on 10/14/2015.
"South of Mountain Grove on the upper end of the North Fork River, one can step back in time when arriving at Topaz Mill. It is a jewel in Douglas County that you don't want to miss. Privately owned, the O'Neal family enjoys giving tours and stories of the history of the area."

14. This shot of Elephant Rocks State Park was taken by Laveda Koen Haas.
"The city of fountains holds an amazement of colors as the sun rises. "Kansas City is always as busy as they come, however, even the big cities must take time to themselves. As the sun rises the last moments of quiet time before the fountains entertain its visitors for the day."
18. Dana Wallis Taylor shared this shot of Klepzig Mill in Shannon County taken on October 11.
