Branson seems to have a never-ending list of attractions and family-friendly activities. You can truly have the ultimate vacation in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. Whether your family likes being outdoors, seeking thrills, catching a live show, learning something new, or relaxing, you can do it all at one fantastic resort near Branson. This huge resort has just added one insanely fun attraction, just in time for your summer vacation.
Big Cedar Lodge is one of the premier destinations for vacationing in the Ozarks. This stunning resort has so much to do and they've just added two more thrilling attractions. If you're into fun, you're going to love Fun Mountain at Big Cedar Lodge.
In addition to games, mini-golf, bowling, and a huge indoor playground, Fun Mountain just opened the massive, 4-story Timber Ridge Ropes Course. While there are a few other agility and ropes courses in the Show Me State, there are none quite like this.
As you test your skills, below waits a pit of live alligators and snakes! Don't worry though, these reptiles are just there to get your heart racing. The harness you wear while tackling the course prevents you from falling into the pit. The reptiles now have a safe place to call home while making your agility challenge a bit more thrilling.
The course includes zip lines, a rolling low, swaying ladder, a balance beam, and the chance to free fall off the QUICKjump platform. In total, there are more than 60 obstacles on this 40-foot course.
Participants must be at least 48 inches tall and must weight less than 285 pounds. Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing are also required. Admission is $20 per person for the ropes course.
Find Big Cedar Lodge at 190 Top of the Rock Road, Ridgedale, MO 65739. For more information about the attractions at Big Cedar Lodge or to make reservations, visit their website here
