Summer brings with it so much fun – from lazily wandering on the river in a tube to camping out under the stars. We have so much to do that, inevitably, the summer passes by, and we’ve missed a few things on our must-do list. Make sure a trip to this u-pick farm in Republic, Missouri, isn’t one of them.
Summer just tastes so good in Missouri, and we’re not just talking about barbecue. Some of the best berries and strawberries are grown within our borders, which makes this u-pick farm in Republic a must-add to your summer to-do list.
A family-owned u-pick berry farm, Missouri Berries promises a fun way to spend an hour or two on a lovely summer afternoon. You can even pack lunch, and have a picnic during your adventure.
When you arrive at the farm, just pull into the parking lot. You’ll get everything you need to pick blueberries or strawberries, depending on what’s available, when you arrive.
To ensure everyone has a good and safe time, wear a pair of comfy shoes, preferably closed-toed, as the ground can be uneven and muddy. You’ll probably want to wear and bring along bug spray and sunscreen.
Your time on the berry farm doesn’t have to end once you’ve had your fill of picking berries. Watch the little ones at the kids’ activity area, snap photos, and explore a walking trail.
Even if you don’t have a picnic, you can still grab a bite at the farm. Treat yourself to a homemade donut, and wash it down with lemonade, strawberry lemonade, or a slushie.
