Everyone loves waffles, right? Well, Melt is counting on it and uses sweet and savory waffles as their base menu item. Every dish at melt is built upon this food, sporting interesting names like “Psycho Monkey” and “Blue Ox.”
In a funky and eclectic atmosphere, they have a live music stage hosting everything from folk to punk rock, along with cocktails, beer, coffee, and smoothies.
They are located at 2712 Cherokee Street in St. Louis, and offer outdoor seating.
The bottomless coffee bar has mugs hanging on hooks. Choose a mug, and fill it with the coffee of your choice. Can’t decide? You can come back as many times as you want.

Old bike wheels are used for lighting, mismatched tables and chairs, couches and oversized chairs, door frames, and headboards are the decor.
The menu is written on the wall in boxes separated by window frames.

Violet Beaureguarde – Buttermilk batter waffle, topped with blueberry puree, blueberries, and whipped cream or vegan maple whip. Add bacon for $1.25.
The Elvis and The Honey Badger
The Elvis – Bacon cooked into a waffle, topped with chocolate sauce, peanut butter, banana, blueberry puree, and whipped cream.
The Honey Badger – Waffle topped with honey, peanut butter, and American Honey Whiskey. (must be over 21)
Psycho Monkey
Psycho Monkey – Waffle with peanut butter and chocolate sauce topped with bananas and whipped cream.
Blue Ox
Blue Ox – Cornmeal waffle with red onions cooked in, topped with slow cooked brisket, Bourbon lime sauce, and bleu cheese crumbles.

The Farmer’s Tan – Waffles with spicy buffalo chicken topped with bleu cheese crumbles and celery. Served with a side of ranch.
Melt Club with Avocado
Biscuit batter waffle with bacon cooked into batter, layered with chicken and avocado, mixed greens, and tomato. Served with a side of ranch.
