The Wizard of Oz themed festival promises fun activities and memorable moments for the entire family. However, it’s only for a day, so you’ll definitely want to clear your calendar for this epic festival.
Wizard of Oz Days returns to Missouri on Saturday, October 22, 2022, transforming the Mark Twain Complex in Hannibal into a world of make believe. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
However, the fun begins with a one-of-a-kind gala aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat on Friday, October 21, 2022. The evening will feature a dinner buffet, an auction, entertainment, and two very special guests.
Judy Garland’s son, Joe Luft, and Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie Olson on Little House on the Prairie will both be aboard the riverboat for this epic weekend kickoff.
Admission to Wizard of Oz Days is just $3 and includes a full day of family-friendly fun, including all of your favorite Oz characters, from Dorothy to the Tin Man. Meet and snap photos with the characters.
Make sure you catch the marionette show; play games, and check out the contests. You might even want to dress up as your favorite Oz character, and enter the costume contest.
