Shopping can get pretty monotonous, especially when we’re on the lookout for something unique, right? After all, all the big box stores are shelved with items we can find pretty much anywhere. When you want something different, look no further than this store in Missouri that sells locally designed and produced items. They’re all unique, too.
Stroll leisurely around Made In KC, with several locations in the city, which boasts an impressive collection of unique items from local artists, designers, and other makers.
All of the items, created by locals, are also sourced locally when possible. Made In KC got its start in 2015, in an effort to support the work of local artists by offering a platform to sell their items.
Made In KC currently partners with more than 300 local makers. It also continuously accepts vendor applications from makers in the metro Kansas City area.
You can't go wrong either with some good, old-fashioned Made in KC barbecue sauces, gourmet mustard, and tea. If you love coffee, sign up for the KC Coffee Subscription, an easy way to sample some of the best coffee in the metro area.
Discover a treasure trove of unique items at Made In Kansas City, open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Or, stop by Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
