Summer’s here! Even though life’s been turned upside down for the past few months, the gorgeous days of summer have arrived in Missouri. With those sun-soaked days come the return of some of our favorite activities, like meandering down the river in a tube. KC’s on the Current in Missouri is officially open again, but there are a few changes of which you should be aware.
Celebrate the beautiful days of summer with a leisurely day on the Current River. KC’s on the Current in Doniphan offers several floating trips, including tubes and rafts.
Before you hit the river, however, you’ll probably want to know a bit about the precautions being taken during the pandemic. All guests are asked, for example, to social distance in the shop.
Signs, in fact, are placed every six feet to help make social distancing easier. The company is also frequently disinfecting buses, showers, and the store.
Don’t forget to bring along refreshing drinks, which you can store in one of the cooler tubes. KC’s on the River rents out regular and oversized cooler tubes.
Your adventure starts with renting your tube(s) and hopping on the shuttle bus to the river. The bus will take you from your car to the river and back again.
Have you been river tubing with KC’s on the Current in Missouri yet? How was it? Let us know in the comments! For an all-day tubing adventure, slip into the water with The Landing in Van Buren.
