This gem is hiding just 40 minutes away from us, along I-70. All you have to do is spend a couple hours exploring before you fall in love with their charm and small-town vibe.

Odessa is home to about 5,000 residents, which makes it a lot smaller than Kansas City without feeling like a ghost town.

It's named after the beautiful city in Ukraine with the same name, and it's been right here in Missouri since 1878.
It has great areas for recreation, and a stunning setting for sunsets.

For your other food needs, you should definitely try T & T's.

They make great home style meals, and even frog legs! It's not anywhere that you find crispy, juicy frog legs like you can at T & T's.
If that doesn't interest you enough, you'll have to visit Odessa Winery on the weekend for a glass and an incredible view.
