If not, you can get into the Halloween spirit the weekend before the big night when you visit this spooktacular Halloween festival in Missouri that boasts a full menu of family-friendly fun.
Gather the whole family for a weekend of fun in downtown Hannibal for the spooktacular Haunted Hannibal Halloween festival, set for October 25-26 and on Halloween 2019.
Decorate your pumpkin, which you can show off Saturday morning during Pumpkins in the Park from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the popular Central Park Farmers Market.
The best pumpkins will be awarded prizes on Saturday morning, too.
Don’t forget to have the kiddos wear their costumes for a morning of trick or treating along the Boo Bash Trick or Treat Trail at Sodalis Nature Preserve. Trick or treating will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
A full evening of activities follows in Downtown Hannibal. Want to show off your pet’s adorable Halloween costume? Join the HOWLoween Pet Parade, which begins marching at 6 p.m. at Chocolaterie Stam on Main Street.
Bring a bag along for the Hannibal Jaycees Halloween Parade, which also kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening. Admire the floats and watch the kids catch the candy being tossed out.
Hannibal’s windows will come alive on Saturday evening, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., during the Third Annual Living Dead Windows. You can even interact with the live Halloween scenes in the windows along Main Street.
Halloween evening in Hannibal features such fun events as trick or treating along Main Street from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the Jaycees Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
