Everyone loves a good beer brat, but there’s a lot more to sausage than the brats you throw on the grill at home. There’s a tiny sandwich shop in the historic Cherokee Street neighborhood of St. Louis that serves high quality sausages in all of their delicious sandwiches. Food truck turned restaurant, Frankly on Cherokee, is one of the best new restaurants in St. Louis. Find out for yourself what all the fuss is about!
Frankly Artisan Sauasages first came to St. Louis as a food truck. However, their popularity grew quickly and they soon opened a brick and mortar location.
Their little shop on Cherokee opened this past November and was a big hit. Although the neighborhood is best known for fantastic Mexican fare, Frankly's has found their niche with sausages and fries.
Try a chili verde sausage, lamb sausage, or go with a classic beer brat. You'll enjoy the fresh ingredients and artisan bun as much as the meat inside your sandwich! Most the ingredients are locally sourced too.
In addition to their full menu, there are usually a few specials too. You never know what spectacular sausage sandwich may be featured as a special. They're always coming up with great new combinations.
You can find Frankly at 2744 Cherokee St., St. Louis. Their food truck is also still active on the streets, visit their Facebook page to find out where they'll be serving.
