There’s no wonder that Branson is Missouri’s top vacation destination. There are tons of attractions, great dining destinations, superb outdoor activities, and great places to stay. Now we want to tell you about a stunning campground that is just steps from your family’s favorite destination. This beautiful campground features kitschy log cabins that look like they could have come right out of a storybook. If your family loves cabin camping (they also have spots for tents and RVs) then this is the summer trip for you!
If you love amusement parks and camping, a stay at Silver Dollar City's Wilderness Campground is the perfect place to stay for your family vacation. They have beautiful cabins and well maintained lots that great for pitching a tent!
Every cabin at the Wilderness features air conditioning and heat, so you won't be a the mercy of Missouri weather. Put the front porch to good use while you're there. Each cabin also has a gas grill, rocking chairs, and outdoor seating.
A few of the cabins feature a kitchenette so you can prepare some family meals. This will definitely save you some money if you're there to visit the theme park.
If you're the type of person that needs to sleep on a real mattress, you'll love the fact that these cabins comfortably sleep 4 on full size and twin size beds. The loft cabins even have a queen bed and sleep 7 to 8 people. No matter what your family needs, there are accommodations to suit you!
If shower houses gross you out, you'll love to know that all the cabins feature private restrooms. In the rustic cabin, you'll get a small bathroom with a shower. However, some cabins even offer a jetted tub. It's a great way to relax after a long day outside.
On-site you'll find a great little pool that will keep the kids occupied for hours. There is also a game room that features a pool table and is stocked with all the best board games. This means that even on a rainy day your family can stay entertained.
The general store and cafe can take care of all your needs. Grab a quick bite to eat or purchase any of those essential items you may have forgotten at home.
Best of all, the campground offers free shuttles to the Silver Dollar City theme park. Ride roller coasters, watch great live shows, or spend the day eating great food all at the Midwest's largest amusement park.
If theme parks aren't for you, you can also visit White Water, Silver Dollar City's huge water park. You can still find tons of thrills at White Water but it's the perfect compromise for others who like to take things easy.
