One of the highlights of the Christmas season in Hermann is the Christkindl Markt at Hermannhof Inn, an annual two-day festival inspired by German tradition.
Hermann, after all, boasts a rich German heritage, having been settled by German immigrants in 1837. The small Missouri town is also known for its annual Oktoberfest.

This year's edition of Christkindl Markt will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9-10. Admission is free.
However, donations are welcome and will go to the "local community Christmas program."

Held at the Historic Festhalle at The Inn at Hermannhof, Christkindl Market will also expand to the Wagon Werks building for 2023, offering an even bigger experience.
