Dreaming of embarking on a safari where you’ll see exotic animals up-close? Well, pile the whole family into the car and set off for this drive-thru safari park in Missouri. Drive through the park, where residents just might come up to your rolled down window to say hello. But, that’s only one part of the adventure on which you’re about to embark.
Create lifelong memories during your visit to Promised Land Safari Park in Eagle Rock, a sprawling 120-acre park that's home to...
Some of the free range residents — elk, deer, camel, and bison, for example — just might roam right up to your car window for a closer look. (Don't forget to snap photos, too!)
Ever fed a parakeet? Well, now's your chance. Stop by Parakeet Paradise, where hundreds of free-flight budgies live. There, you can hold out a treat stick, and wait for your new feathery friends to land on your arm to eat.
Visit the petting zoo for some more one-on-one time with the residents. And, bottle feed some of the resident babies at feeding time. (Participation is included in admission, but the experience is first come, first served.)
Promised Land Zoo is open seven days a week (except for a few holidays you can see at the very bottom of this page.) Pricing varies depending upon age, and the two levels of guest passes: general admission and VIP. Hours of operation are daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last park admission at 4 p.m. Click here for the website of Promised Land Safari Park. Or, go here for Facebook.
