Who’s up for a blast from the past? Remember way back when when we spent balmy summer evenings at the drive-in? We’d arrive at the drive-in early to snag a good parking spot, to toss the Frisbee around, and to hang out and chat with friends. The evening also included, without fail, trips to the snack bar. Experience that old-time goodness again at these drive-in theaters in Missouri.
Snag a spot close to the screen when you go for a double feature under the stars at Starlight Drive-In. The theater boasts two screens. You’ll have to bring your own snacks for the time being as the concession stand is closed due to the pandemic. (Don’t worry. The bathrooms are still open.) Spend a night under the stars at a historic drive-in. The 66 Drive-In offers a double feature on one screen. You’re allowed to bring your own food in (no alcohol or grilling, however), but you’ll probably want to stop by the snack bar, too. There, you’ll find popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and other goodies. Click here for the official website of 66 Drive-In.
Pack the whole family in the car for an evening at Sunset Drive-In. The kiddos can still play on the playground prior to the start of the double feature. Don’t forget to check out the concession stand that sells a ton of goodies – from popcorn and cotton candy to pizza and corn dogs. Click here for the official website of Sunset Drive-In.
Head over to Moberly and the B&B Drive-In for a double feature under the stars. The drive-in shows classics like Grease and The Goonies, as well as first run films. Click here for the official website of B&B Moberly Drive-In.
