Stop to smell the flowers and pick your favorites as you wander through the rows and rows of colorful flowers at Turtle Hills Farm in Sullivan.
Welcoming visitors seasonally, the sprawling farm makes picking your own flowers easy and fun. However, you’ll want to be prepared before heading over.
As you explore the colorful flower field, you’ll be under the glare of the sun, which can get incredibly hot during the summer. You might want to wear a hat; bring plenty of bottled water, and lather on the bug spray.
Be sure to wear comfy shoes that you’re not worried about getting muddy. The terrain at the farm is uneven in spots, so you’ll definitely want to pay attention as you walk.
Your unique warm-weather journey begins with a stop at the garden shed, where you’ll grab a bucket and flower scissors. You’ll also receive instructions on how to best cut the flowers.
All guests receive the same size bucket, and you can fill it as much as you want. You’ll then pay for as much as you've picked after returning from the flower field.
