Most of us usually make our way to the local farm during the fall to celebrate the days leading up to Halloween with hayrides, pumpkin picking, and corn mazes. Following the fall fun, Country Roads Family Fun Farm in Missouri transforms into a magical holiday wonderland with its Christmas on the Farm each December. It’s the perfect Christmastime destination for the whole family.
Country Roads Family Fun Farm in Stotts City will host Christmas on the Farm on weekends from December 12-20, 2020. Hours on both Saturday and on Sunday run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bundle up for your day on the farm that boasts a full menu of fun outdoor activities – from a Jingle Bell Hayride around the farm to a Christmas Choo-Choo Train.
Santa will also be on hand to listen to kids’ wishes and to pose for photographs. Professional photographs cost $10 per photo, which also provides you with digital rights.
Make sure you stop by Santa’s Stables Petting Zoo, too, where you can meet and pet an assortment of friendly animals – from gregarious goats to adorable donkeys.
All of that Christmastime fun will probably help the whole family work up a hearty appetite. Christmas on the Farm will have an assortment of goodies for sale, too. Warm up with hot cocoa or coffee and kettle corn, for example.
Admission tickets to Christmas on the Farm cost $10 (plus tax) per person. Kiddos under two are free. Extra activities, such as making your own toys and s’mores kits, require additional fees.
