The Missouri Rhineland has some of the most beautiful landscapes in our state. Most of Missouri wine country sits on the banks of the Missouri River, offering visitors breathtaking sights of both the vineyards and the riverside bluffs. A warm spring day begs for a trip to the wineries and Augusta, just an hour west of St. Louis, is the perfect destination. The historic building, erected in 1857, went under a complete renovation prior to The Silly Goose's opening in 2014. However, the historic charm was perfectly preserved which complements the modern eatery.
