Are you ready, meat lovers, for the meatiest, most delicious buffet in Missouri? You’re definitely not alone. Charley’s Buffet in Lincoln is so popular that the lines to get in often snake outside of the door and around the corner. If you like old-fashioned, homecooked food and a selection of meaty dishes, you’ll certainly want to consider giving the Missouri buffet a spot on your dining bucket list.
Expect to wait in line, unless you arrive well ahead of opening, at Charley's Buffet, famous for its homecooked dishes - from classic fried chicken to mashed potatoes.
Open seasonally from March through November, the popular buffet beckons visitors from all over Missouri. It can get pretty crowded, too, especially since Charley's opens only two evenings a week.
However, you'll quickly realize the drive to this middle of nowhere gem and the wait in line are well worth it. Just make sure you come good and hungry.
A meaty meal, of course, wouldn't be complete without a selection of homemade sides. Scoop up hearty servings of mashed potatoes, carrots, and corn, for example.
If you love freshly-baked bread and rolls, you'll love Charley's. Previous guests recommend wearing stretchy clothes, warning you'll likely overindulge with all of the delicious dishes available.
Mouth watering at the thought of all that meaty goodness? Charley's Buffet, open seasonally from March through November, welcomes diners Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
