Life is pretty sweet in Missouri, and so are our local candy stores! Homemade fudge, truffles, chocolate bars, and gourmet bonbons are just some of the things you will find at these delicious chocolate shops in Missouri. Sure to give your sweet tooth a much-needed fix, each shop on this list is full of tasty nostalgia, and every handmade item is definitely made with extra love by local Missourians! Sweet Things Sweet Shop is a family owned and operated candy shop located in historic downtown Ste. Genevieve. While you'll find more than just chocolate here, you'll also find some of the best truffles in Missouri. Like... Cherry Cheesecake, Dark Champagne, Italian Cream Cake, and so many more.
3. Miss M’s Candy Boutique, Delmar Loop, St. Louis
This sweet gem is basically Missouri's own Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Located on the 2nd floor of Crown Center in Kansas City, Chip’s Chocolate Factory offers over 40 different flavors of fudge and over 200 types of Swiss Chocolate treats, all made by hand and dished up in HUGE portions.. Which means you have plenty of options to choose from, no matter what your chocolate-indulging occasion! in fact, you'll even find a fudge flavor dedicated to Kansas City itself! For even more fun, you can watch the deliciousness being made or schedule a tour and chocolate tasting. How's that for a date idea? Making homemade chocolates since 1919, Bankhead's Chocolates is a delicious place to dive into some sweet goodies. They also serve a bistro lunch from spring through the fall, if you would like a little something-something in between bites of chocolate.
Located in Lake Ozark, Grandma’s Candy Kitchen has over 20 different flavors of fudge, 40 flavors of old-fashioned salt water taffy, and many other treats including sugar-free options. You can even watch the candy being made and swoon over the free samples. Theoretically, this is supposed to make the decision-making easier...but really, it just makes it harder to choose!

A classic Missouri photo op stop (for hopefully-obvious reasons), Uranus Fudge Factory is also a fantastic place to grab some out-of-this-world sweets. Every flavor of fudge is made fresh daily and cut by hand. Be sure to try some Butterfinger or Blueberry Cheesecake Fudge from Uranus! Of course, even if you're not feeling in the mood for fudge, Uranus is still a pretty neat stop.
For a serious taste of the fancy, RJ Chocolatier boutique has been named has been named as one of the Top Ten Chocolatiers in North America. From honey foam chocolate to hot chocolate bombs to chocolate sculptures, there's nothing this chocolate master can't create!

Serving Kansas City for 59 years, Andre’s Chocolates & Confiserie Suisse has been going strong for three generations, with numerous accolades under their belt.
