Sure to give your sweet tooth a much-needed fix, each shop on this list is full of tasty nostalgia, and every handmade item is definitely made with extra love by local Missourians! Whether you’re gift shopping for someone special or just craving something a sweet to enjoy yourself, you’ll fall head over heels for these divine chocolate havens. In no particular order:
1. The Candy Factory, Columbia

The Candy Factory has been "making fine chocolates since 1974." In fact, they can even create a custom chocolate flavor just for you!
2. Sweet Things Sweet Shop, Ste. Genevieve

Sweet Things Sweet Shop is a family owned and operated candy shop located in historic downtown Ste. Genevieve. While you'll find more than just chocolate here, you'll also find some of the best truffles in Missouri. Like... Cherry Cheesecake, Dark Champagne, Italian Cream Cake, and so many more.
