Summer usually gets all of the accolades. After all, summer means an abundance of outdoor activities, generally accompanied by golden sunshine and beautiful temperatures. Winter, on the other hand, often gets overlooked as the season of cold, snow, and ice. Give winter the credit it’s due this year by getting outdoors for a ton of seasonal fun – sledding, ice skating, snow tubing, and skiing, for example. Make sure you also add this unique winter attraction in Missouri to your to-do list.
Ready, set, aim…if you’re a fan of traditional bumper cars, you’ll likely fall head over heels for bumper cars on ice, an epic wintertime attraction at Steinberg Ice Rink in St. Louis.
A popular wintertime activity across the United States, bumper cars on ice runs from late November through the end of February annually. That gives you plenty of time to check out this fast-paced, adrenaline-inducing winter attraction.
Each bumper cars on ice ride lasts 10 action-packed minutes, and there are a few things you need to know before making a reservation and heading to the ice rink.
Drivers must be at least six years old and stand 42 inches tall to maneuver the bumper car alone. If you want to have a passenger, however, you must be at least 18 years old.
After you’ve had your fill of bumper cars on ice, how about slipping on a pair of ice skates and gliding around the rink? Steinberg Ice Rink offers both ice skating and bumper cars on ice sessions seven days a week.
