With the absolutely gorgeous weather we’ve been having here in Missouri, you’ve probably been looking for a place to enjoy a drink or a meal on a patio with great views. Well, while there are lots of options across the state, this historic boathouse is so close to the water that you can actually reach-out and touch it! Visit Forest Park and dine with the ducks at the new and improved Boathouse.
Although the Boathouse has been in Forest Park since 1894, the restaurant has recently received new life. The Boathouse re-opened this year under the control of Sugarfire Events on April 25 this year.
Locals were glad to see the beloved Boathouse come under new management. There is no better spot to dine in St. Louis than out on the patio, just steps away from the lake.
With a new focus on food, the menu has been revamped with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads. It's the perfect place for a nice lunch with water views.
Get your brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at one of St. Louis' best locations. Their weekend brunch is not only delicious, but it's also tons of fun. It's easy to see why it's a local favorite.
After dining, you can rent a paddle boat, canoe, or kayak from the dock. A paddle boat is $20 an hour, but the trip around the 22 acres of waterway is so worthwhile!
