Scenic trails can make even the most challenging of hikes oh-so-worth-it. While this trail that leads to a waterfall in Missouri isn’t too difficult, it does present some challenges to hikers. However, if you’re up for the challenge, you’ll be treated to views of a sensational waterfall, of a cave, and of an abundance of natural beauty.
Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area, in Branson, promises plenty to do for the whole family. However, if you really want to experience the 140-acre park, set off on one of the trails.
The stairs are steep, so make sure you're wearing sturdy shoes that are good for climbing and that you're in good physical condition to complete the trip.
Slip on your hiking boots and head over to Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area, open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter.
