On the hunt for a fun way to spend a few hours with the whole family? Or, maybe you just want to spend a little quiet time on your own? Either way, this charming blueberry farm in Missouri provides the perfect backdrop for an afternoon adventure. Pick fresh blueberries then treat yourself to a blueberry muffin or another blueberry goody at the farm’s bakery. But, that’s just the beginning.
Soak up the glorious Missouri sunshine with a visit to The Berry Patch, in Cleveland, a charming 30-acre berry farm that's welcomed visitors since 1980.
Just follow the signs to the picking patches, where you can pick up a bucket for your blueberries. Then, head out into the sun-soaked fields to fill your basket with blueberries.
Of course, not everyone can or wants to pick their own blueberries. You can purchase pre-picked blueberries from out-of-state farms right at The Berry Patch's charming country store.
Stopping by the kids fun center. Watch the kids as they find their way out of a hay maze or embark on an obstacle course. They can also enjoy a ride around the farm on the Berry Train. (The cost is $1.50 per ride.)
And, cap off your visit with a visit to the country store and bakery. Stock up on such favorites as blueberry baked goods, jams, jellies, and other treats.
Start counting down the days to blueberry picking season at The Berry Patch, which is typically open from early June through mid-August. Visit Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
