For over 60 years Kansas City natives have been enjoying In-A-Tub tacos. These crispy, crunchy tacos are fried and covered in a powdered cheese. This retro joint may not look like much, but their tacos are loved by all who’ve tried them. Try one for yourself soon!
In-A-Tub has been serving delicious tacos to locals in Kansas City since 1957. Although they no longer serve food in plastic tubs, the name remains.
These hard shell tacos are filled with seasoned beef or beans, fried, and topped with powder cheese. Tacos are classified by spice, you can order mild, medium, hot or extra hot tacos.
Take your tacos to-go or dine-n the retro food joint. In-A-Tub is also a great place for vegetarians. Order fried veggies or apples, fries or tater tots, all before digging into some bean and cheese tacos.
You can find In-A-Tub at 4000 N Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64116 and 8174 NW Prairie View Rd., Kansas City, MO 64151. Visit them on Facebook at here.
