Our vintage treasure hunt begins at Good Ju Ju in Kansas City. But, be forewarned, this massive vintage shop only opens one time each month on the first Friday of the month then again on Saturday. Explore the multiple-story vintage and antique shop that features countless vendors selling unique items from the 1880s through the 1980s.
Let's head to Absolute Vintage in Columbia next, where you'll find a treasure trove of vintage clothes and accessories from the 1950s through the 1990s. Find the perfect vintage outfit. Then, accessorize it with a pair of retro sunglasses, boots, shoes, bracelets, necklaces, and other jewelry.
Off we go to Encore Department Store in Jefferson City. Plan to spend plenty of time exploring the eclectic shop that sells a wide assortment of vintage items. Find old school games like Yahtzee, puzzles, furniture, and dishware. That, of course, is just the beginning. Encore Department Store also sells vintage artwork, clothing, and books.
Next, we'll journey to Brenda Sue's. Unlike the other shops along this route, Brenda Sue's sells an assortment of both new and vintage items. Browse the shop that sells clothes and accessories from the early part of the 20th century through today. And, if you're on the hunt for the perfect costume, which you can either buy or rent, find it at Brenda Sue's.
The Vintage Haberdashery in St. Louis is all about vintage clothing. (You can even buy or rent clothing.) Browse the constantly-changing inventory that features clothing from the 1880s through the 1980s. The charming shop also sells vintage accessories and shoes. Whether you're looking for vintage pieces to add to your wardrobe or you need a costume for Halloween, you'll likely find just the right outfit at this St. Louis shop.
We're off to Vintage Stock in Springfield next. But, don't let the "vintage" fool you. Vintage Stock sells an assortment of new video games and movies. Vintage fans, however, will want to visit for the extensive collection of vintage toys, comic books, and memorabilia.
Alas, we've arrived at our final stop on this route. But, get ready for some major moments of nostalgia at WyCo Vintage in Kansas City. The shop sells vintage t-shirts from the good old days. Browse the collection of concert t-shirts of everyone from Michael Jackson and Billy Joel to Guns 'N Roses and the Beatles. Of course, the shop also sells popular vintage sports shirts.
