We all need to stop and smell the flowers every now and then. At Long Row Lavender Farm in Missouri, we can meander through rows of growing lavender, sunflowers, and peonies. Or we can sit back on the porch swing and enjoy the scenery. A perfect backdrop for a relaxing day, the sprawling farm also features a gift shop and a café.
Long Row Lavender Farm, in Wright City, welcomes guests to explore some of the 15 lush acres – dotted with lavender, sunflowers, and peonies – of the farm.
The dog-friendly (as long as your pup stays on a leash) lavender farm also features picnic tables outdoors, so you can enjoy a bite to eat from the charming café.
Take a peek at the café’s menu that boasts a selection of specialty drinks, hot teas, and desserts. Try a slice of cream pie, fruit pie, or cake, for example.
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you’ll have quite a few delicious dishes from which to choose. The menu currently features a selection of sandwiches and salads, including the sour dough grilled cheese and the signature salad.
Carve out some time to visit the on-site shop, too, where you’ll find an assortment of lavender products – wreaths, essential oils, and tea, for example.
Meander through Long Row Lavender Farm, open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The café serves lunch on those same days between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
