IMO's tends to be the preferred pizza chain in St. Louis, but indulge in a pizza pie at Melo's, and you may never want to go to different pizzeria again.

Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park is usually flooded with people during the summer. To beat the crowd, head over to Castor River Shut-Ins, which is a bit more low key, far less populated, and just as beautiful.

The St. Louis Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world and visitors should definitely make a trip there. However, Springfield also offers a pretty brag-worthy natural sanctuary. The 113-acre garden includes 26 themed gardens, a Butterfly House and the Gray/Campbell Farmstead.
