When it comes to the over-the-top creations at Captain Al’s, seeing is believing…and, most likely, drooling! Sure to impress even the toughest of food critics, the menu boasts tons of tasty dishes, including a few larger-than-life concoctions, like stuffed pineapples and “world famous” bloody Marys garnished with everything from sausage links to whole Maine lobsters.
Captain Al’s is in Gulfport. The Gulf Coast staple boasts a beach, marina, and traditional parking lot, so you can arrive by land or sea.
A signature creation, the Boatload is a pineapple stuffed with a wild rice veggie blend and topped with jumbo sautéed shrimp and your choice of Mahi Mahi, steak, or chicken.
The Boatload isn’t the only attention-getting item on the menu, though. There are also Captain Al’s famous bloody Marys, which are guaranteed to “make your jaw drop.”
In addition to traditional garnishes, like olives, okra, and celery, the outlandish bloody Marys are topped with an array of seafood, including Dungeness crab, fried and boiled shrimp, soft shell crab, and whole Maine lobster.
