Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. In the years since, she’s had the privilege of having her articles appear in several publications, such as the Mississippi-based Parents & Kids Magazine. In business for nearly a century and a half, Weidmann’s in Meridian is the state’s oldest restaurant. Several things have changed at the restaurant throughout the years, but one thing has remained the same – Weidmann’s is just as much a local favorite now as it was when it first opened its doors all those years ago. Having survived since the late 1800s, the renowned restaurant has it all – mouthwatering fare, a historic atmosphere and one truly incredible past.
Visit Weidmann’s at 210 22nd Avenue in Meridian on Monday – Thursday, from 11 am – 9 pm, Friday – Saturday, from 11 am – 11 pm, and on Sunday, from 10 am – 2 pm.
