Located on the beach in Waveland, this state park has a lot to offer, including primitive and developed camping, nature trails, disc golf, and an incredible on-site water park. Dubbed Buccaneer Bay, the 4.5-acre water park overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and features several slides, a wave pool, snack bar, and more.

This "laid back country water park" is the perfect place to beat the heat! In business since 1939, the lakeside park has a white sand beach, canoes and paddle boats, pavilion, picnic tables, volleyball nets, miniature golf, and water slides that flow directly into the lake.

This secluded water park is hidden in the hills along the Chunky River. The perfect place to "splash, grill, play, or chill," it features picnic tables, grills, primitive campsites, and a 65’ waterfall. The crystal clear waters of the river are perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day, and since the area directly below the waterfall isn’t too deep, it’s a great spot for swimmers of all ages.
