If you’re a fan of inventive grub, you’re sure to love The Dip. The longstanding eatery serves up some incredibly unique culinary creations – and that’s in addition to a classic drive-in fare of burgers, ice cream treats, and fast food eats. Take a look:

Known by locals as The Dip, Velvet Cream has been pleasing palates since opening in Hernando in 1947.

Throughout the decades, the small town eatery has garnered national recognition for its artisan ice cream and delicious cheeseburgers.

Dubbed a “burger bazaar and ice cream emporium,” its massive menu features over 20 types of gourmet burgers...

...as well as treats made from soft serve, frozen yogurt, hand-dipped ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and Italian ice.

While the menu boasts a variety of classics, it features some not-so-classic items, like the Hole In One, a donut ice cream sandwich.
