Mississippi is no stranger to great parks. From state parks to playgrounds, the options are virtually endless in the Magnolia State. However, one of the most unique is definitely Old Mountain Outdoor Adventure Park in Winona. In addition to a variety of obstacle courses, hiking trails and other activities, the park includes an aerial net obstacle course, which is only the second of its kind in the U.S.! Perfect for people of all ages, this hidden gem is a must visit. Take a look:
Welcoming adventurers ages 2 and up, Old Mountain Outdoor Adventure Park is a great destination for the entire family.
The park is located at 90 Old Mountain Road in Winona.
Featuring aerial obstacle courses, zip lines, a treetop net trampoline, kids adventure courses, hiking trails, and a breathtaking scenic overlook, there's something for everyone.
Now that school is back in session, the park is open Sunday through Thursday by reservation only, Friday from 3 pm – 7 pm, and Saturday from 10 am – 7 pm.

One of the most popular attractions is Spider Quest. Perfect for thrill seekers, the harness-free, aerial net obstacle course is only the 2nd of its kind in the U.S.
For the ultimate adventure, go with the Treetop Adventure Package. A combination of Spider Quest and Treetop Quest, the course offers 3 hours of exhilarating treetop fun.
If you’re not up for an obstacle course, Treasure Quest is a great alternative. The perfect group activity, you’ll make your way through the park, answering questions until you find the treasure at the end.
This activity can be adapted and tailored to any group. The park can customize questions for any group, company, or classroom curriculum.
Before leaving the park, check out the hiking trails. You can trek to Old Mountain Scenic Overlook and take in panoramic views of downtown Winona, making for a perfect ending to your action packed day.
