When you’re craving a one-of-a-kind dining experience, pay a visit to IKKO, a new restaurant in Mississippi. Recently opened, IKKO is a Japanese fusion restaurant with only one other locale in the U.S., but that’s not what makes it special. What really sets this new restaurant in Mississippi apart from others is its unique staff member – a robot.
One of the newest restaurants in Hattiesburg, IKKO celebrated its grand opening in February 2022.
Robotic servers are common in restaurants in Japan; however, here in Mississippi, not so much. IKKO is one of the only – if not the only – restaurant in Mississippi with a robotic server.
The robotic server might be unique to the IKKO in Hattiesburg; however, that doesn’t mean the two IKKO restaurants don’t have anything in common.
Whatever you order, make sure to try the Yum Yum sauce - it's made in-house from scratch.
