And it's only gotten more popular with the addition of the Chadwick Lake Walking Trail in 2013.
Easy to traverse, the 6-foot-wide, ADA-compliant trail is paved throughout. And the portion that isn’t paved features a boardwalk.

Just a short distance from the trail, there's a collection of outdoor fitness equipment, making it easy to squeeze in a full workout.

You can even veer off the trail to do some fishing (so long as you have a fishing permit) in Chadwick Lake. There are bass, crappie, and catfish in the lake.
Chadwick Lake Walking Trail isn’t the only must-visit site on the MSU campus, though.

MSU boasts several points of interest, including the Chapel of Memories, Veteran's Memorial Rose Garden, and the MAFES Sales Store, which is famous for its cheese.
