1. We don't all live on farms in the country.

4. In fact, we're pretty good at science and math, too.

We know it's not good manners to brag...but wow! Mississippi is downright beautiful. We've preserved much of that beauty with our state parks, which are constantly named as some of the best places in the country to visit.

Mississippi has more than 10 Indian Mound sites, for one thing. Our historical sites include plenty of Civil War battlefields and plantations, but we treasure our even older history, too.
