It’s safe to say that religion is a pretty big deal in Mississippi. Not only is it located in the Bible Belt, but the state’s repeatedly been recognized as one of the most religious in the entire country. In fact, according to data released by the website Sperling’s Best Places, 59.24% of Mississippians consider themselves to be religious. To put that into perspective, it’s almost a full 10% above the national average. The website took things a step further and analyzed data to determine how the state’s counties ranked; here are the 10 most religious.
