Doling out the best grilled cheese in Mississippi, The Oxford Canteen is the greatest thing to happen to sandwiches since sliced bread! The famous sandwich is just one thing that makes the restaurant unique, though. There’s also its location in a former gas station and its fresh, creative fare.
Oxford is home to some great restaurants, and ever since 2014, The Oxford Canteen has been one of those restaurants.
It’s come a long way over the years. Initially located in an alley with just a tiny kitchen and walk-up window, it was quite literally a hole-in-the-wall. Today, it’s housed in a former gas station-turned-carwash.
The location isn’t the only thing that’s changed, though. Since opening, it’s only gotten more popular – something confirmed by its long list of accolades.
We know what you’re thinking, How soon can I visit Oxford Canteen?! You can find that info – and lots more – on Oxford Canteen’s website. You can also call Oxford Canteen at (662) 638-3393.
