1. Biloxi Brewing Company
Start your road trip off with a visit to Biloxi's first craft beer manufacturer located on the Gulf Coast. While at the brewery, be sure to check out the Coastal Life Taproom, where you’ll find a variety of beers on tap for sampling. There’s also a window, so you can watch as beer is being made. 2. Chandeleur Island Brewing Company
Located in downtown Gulfport, this brewery features a taproom that’s the perfect place for some drinks and fun. Spacious and laidback, you’ll feel right at home as you indulge on a variety of beers. And with 12 options on tap at all times there’s no shortage of fantastic brews. Golden Tee, the ring game, giant Jenga, ping pong, corn hole, and darts are also available to help make your visit a fun (and memorable) one. 3. Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company
In addition to a taproom, this brewery offers a variety of tours, making it a must visit for beer connoisseurs! Tours range in price from $10 to $30, so there’s something for everyone’s tastes. While at the brewery, be sure to check out the newly opened taproom, The Porch. The menu includes a variety of beers as well as tasty eats. 4. Southern Prohibition Brewing
The taproom at this Hattiesburg brewery is the perfect place to get your fill of great beer and pizza. Make sure to plan your visit accordingly, though, as the taproom is only open Wednesday through Friday. If it’s a tour your interested in, you’ll have to visit on Saturday, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., when tours take place every hour, on the hour. Well worth it, the $5-tour includes lots of information and four 4-ounce pours. Southern Prohibition Brewing is located at 301 Mobile St., Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
5. Slowboat Brewing Company
Offering tours, a variety of great beer, and a seemingly endless supply of board games, a visit to this brewery is practically guaranteed to be a fun one. Any beer fan is sure to be pleased with the tasty selection, which includes unique creations, like Oyster Stout. If it’s your competitiveness you’re looking to quench, visit the brewery on Saturday for game night. Slowboat Brewing Company is located at 318 W 5th St., Laurel, MS 39440.
6. Natchez Brewing Company
Whether you want to sample beer or learn all about it, this brewery is for you. Located in downtown Natchez, the brewery’s taproom is open Wednesday through Saturday. Check out the brewery’s Facebook page before visiting, as special events, like game nights, take place often. Tours are available on Fridays and Saturdays only – but remember, a reservation is required. Natchez Brewing Company is located at 207 High St., Natchez, MS 39120.
