Looking for the perfect way to spend a fall day? Well, look no further than the Harvest Festival at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum. A one-of-a-kind event, the fest offers a glimpse into the past through live demonstrations. But that’s not all. There’s also lots of present-day fun to be had. Take a look:

There’s a lot to see and do at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum. One of the best exhibits is Small Town Mississippi, a replica of a small southern town from the 1920s.

The museum’s other exhibits include agricultural and display gardens, nature trail, aviation museum, and more.
Each November, the Small Town Mississippi exhibit gets even better, as it’s used to hold the museum’s Harvest Festival.

This year’s festival will take place from November 5th to 9th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Any visit to Small Town Mississippi is like taking a step back in time. However, history really comes to life during the festival thanks to a variety of live demonstrations.

Demonstrations include the operation of a sawmill, cane mill, print shop, blacksmith shop, and America’s oldest operating cotton gin!
