Hot dog stands are pretty common in states around the nation. Mississippi isn’t one of them. However, that’s not to say we don’t have some great hot dog spots here in the Magnolia State – and Small Time Hot Dogs is one of them. A food truck that travels to various cities, the eatery specializes in hot dogs with a creative twist, putting a new spin on the classic dish. Take a look:
Recently, the website First We Feast released a list of the best hot dogs in the U.S., and Small Time Hot Dogs took the Mississippi spot.
It’s not the first time the food truck was recognized for its tasty dogs, though. According to Travel and Culture, the eatery’s hot dogs are among the best in the South.
For example, the Southern Dog is topped with hickory smoked pulled pork, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. The Raging Cajun, which features Cajun crawfish sauce, is another southern-inspired dog.
Since Small Time Hot Dogs is a mobile eatery, its location is always changing. To keep up with current locations, check out the eatery’s Facebook page.
