Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. In the years since, she’s had the privilege of having her articles appear in several publications, such as the Mississippi-based Parents & Kids Magazine. She’s also had the honor of interviewing actress Sela Ward for The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience.
Lots of activities are more fun when wine is involved – and painting is one of them. And while bringing wine, or any other adult beverage for that matter, to a paint class is normally frowned upon, that’s not the case at Canvas and Cocktails. Just as the name implies, the art studio welcomes the idea of visitors bringing along their favorite drink. Take a look:
Located in Gulfport, Canvas and Cocktails opened back in 2008.
But the atmosphere isn’t the only thing that lends to its laidback vibe. There’s also the fact that the studio allows visitors to bring along their favorite food and beverages – including adult beverages.
There’s more to love about Canvas and Cocktails than its drinking policy, though. The studio offers a variety of painting classes, so there really is something for everyone.
Whether you attend an open-to-the-public class or book a private party, all the necessary painting supplies are provided. (Minus the adult beverages, of course.)
During your visit, an instructor leads you through each step, making Canvas and Cocktails perfect for artists of all skill levels. Plus, the canvases are pre-drawn, practically eliminating the chance for mistakes.
So, are you ready to uncork your inner artist? For more information, call (228) 861-8444. You can also visit the Canvas and Cocktails Facebook page or website to view upcoming events.
