Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. For many, a tropical getaway would require traveling out of state and possibly an expensive flight. Luckily, that’s not the case for us Mississippians. You see, less than a mile off the state’s coastline lays a desolate island, otherwise known as Deer Island.
