Defined as “extremely impressive or attractive,” the word stunning applies to a number of eateries in Mississippi, and Restaurant 1818 in Natchez is definitely one of them. The one-of-a-kind restaurant is inside of Monmouth, a mansion that dates back to the early 19th century. Just as impressive as the restaurant’s interior, is the exterior, which includes several acres of gorgeous gardens. Offering amazing food in a setting to match, you’ll want to pay a visit to Restaurant 1818.
Built in the early 1800s, Monmouth is now a National Historic Landmark and popular inn.

Great care has been taken to preserve the antebellum mansion. Filled with antique décor and furnishings, stepping inside is like taking a step back in time.
Each parlor includes a variety of period furnishings and authentic pieces, such as crystal gasoliers. The fixtures were custom made for Monmouth by artisans at Waterford Crystal in Ireland.

For a more private dining experience, groups of 8-12 can reserve the table in the main dining room.
Since the food comes a la carte, guests have "complete dining freedom." There's also a full wine list, so you're sure to find the perfect beverage to complement your meal.
