If you love shopping for vintage finds and other unique items, Mississippi is the place for you. There seems to be no shortage of flea markets and antique shops in the Magnolia State. And one that should definitely be on your radar is the Levee Street Market. Spanning two stories and home to multiple vendors, the quirky market is practically overflowing with terrific treasures. Take a look:
This is Levee Street Market. It’s located in downtown Vicksburg on Catfish Row.
It’s opened Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

With over 50 vendors under one roof, you’ll find a little bit of everything – from antiques and vintage goods to high-end clothing and locally made items.
Each of the vendors has their own booth, which is clearly marked, so you can easily navigate your way around the store and find exactly what you’re searching for.
You’ll definitely want to devote a couple of hours to exploring this shop since it’ll take a bit of time to peruse through two huge floors’ worth of treasures.
Since the market is located right across the street from the Mighty Mississippi, the porch offers exceptional waterfront views. Pull up a chair and watch as the barges (and possibly a steam boat or two) go up and down the river.
Levee Street Market Place is located at 1001 Levee St., Vicksburg, MS 39183. For more information, call (601) 638-7191 or visit the shop’s website or Facebook page.
