Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. Filled with eclectic décor in a lively setting, themed restaurants make for one memorable meal, and the quirkier, the better…right? Of all the unique eateries in Mississippi, The Tomato Place in Vicksburg is definitely one of the quirkiest. From its colorful exterior to the eccentric variety of merchandise inside, this place is so amazingly strange it’s hard not to love.
Venture down Highway 61 in Vicksburg and you’ll eventually run into the colorful, quirky roadside stand, The Tomato Place.
As if it couldn't get any better, there are several rocking chairs out front, so you can sit back and enjoy a nice, cold sweet tea in true Mississippi fashion.
