We Mississippians know the Magnolia State is home to some great seafood restaurants. And now, thanks to The Daily Meal’s list of America’s best seafood shacks, the rest of the nation knows, too – and that’s because among the restaurants featured was Mississippi’s very own P’Reaux’s. Completely worth of the recognition, P’Reaux’s is sure to hit the spot when a seafood craving strikes. Take a look:
Located in Yazoo City, P’Reaux’s has been serving up authentic made-from-scratch Cajun cuisine for over 10 years – and it’s come a long way throughout the years.
The eatery originally started off as a crawfish trailer. Today, it’s grown to include two dining rooms, a tiki bar, air-conditioned party bus, and an outdoor dining area.
From the expansive appetizer offering, which includes P’Reaux’s signature Bang Bang Shrimp, to an array of seafood baskets and platters the delectable dishes are virtually endless.
And don’t forget about the po’boys. In addition to shrimp, oyster, crawfish, and catfish, there are several landlubber options, including rib-eye steak and chicken tender po’boys.
Aside from the plentiful seafood selection, the menu also includes popular Delta dishes, such as fried alligator, boudin balls, fried green tomatoes, and other local favorites.
