Held the last Saturday in June, the festival includes everything from farmers and flea markets to live entertainment and a tomato museum.

2. Spend the “Night at the Museum,” in Vicksburg.

On June 11th, the Vicksburg museum will open its doors after dark for the "Night at the Museum" event. The annual event is part of the museum’s living history program and includes actors portraying significant people from the city’s past. 3. Celebrate the king at Tupelo’s Elvis Festival.
