When it comes to old-school restaurants, Walnut Hills fits the bill. Not only is the eatery housed in a historic building, but it serves up a slew of southern classics, including some of the best fried chicken in the state, possibly the world. You even have the option to enjoy your food à la carte or round table-style. The latter definitely makes for a unique (and old-fashioned) dining experience. Take a look:
For more information, call (601) 638-4910. You can also visit the Walnut Hills website or Facebook page.
Address: 1214 Adams Street, Vicksburg, MS, 39183
So, have you ever been to Walnut Hills? If so, did you try the chicken? Did you order from the menu or choose round table service? Tell us in the comments section.
This isn’t the only place you can fill up on southern classics. Read about another here.
